“This was a really nice motel where a couple can spend their time comfortably for several days! Staff was welcoming and friendly (including the two dogs and hens). The room with kitchenette and bathroom was an appealing lay-out and very clean. It was a quiet location and we got a really good night sleep. Parking was free. All in all, a place that can be recommended. Would book it again when in the area.”

“Camera molto comoda e pulita”

“Ottima sistemazione davanti alla spiaggia! Camera spaziosa, luminosa e ben accessoriata. La struttura è moderna e in fase di espansione. Ci siamo trovati molto bene.”

“Ottima struttura nuovissimo bungalow, pulitissimo così come il campeggio. Consigliatissimo ”

“Lovely stay in the Rainforest motel. Andy is a great host who made us feel very welcome. We sadly, were only there for one night, as we were passing through on our way to Queenstown, however if we are lucky enough to return to NZ we would definitely stay here for a few nights. The property is comfortable, clean and the unit we had was updated and had a great new bathroom / wet room. The whole motel complex has such a relaxed feel about it and we have no doubt recommending it as a great place to...

“The 2 bedroom family room was small and sparse but cozy. The heated beds were a plus and the lodge was easily walkable to the grocery store, a great cafe, and the Fox Glacier HeliTours office. The office had games and puzzles to loan for rainy days. Room was clean and beds were comfy”

“It's ok for a ahort stay in the area”

“Great stay in the deluxe accommodation. Comfy beds and the hot tub was very relaxing. Note that the tvs aren’t smart tvs so you’re limited to local tv. We ate at monsoon both nights and the food was excellent”

“Had everything we needed, clean and tidy, friendly and helpful staff”

“The hotel was nice with many dining options within walking distance. The rooms provided good heating and was a comfortable stay.”

“Assolutamente nella media, abbiamo preso uno studio queen e rispecchia quel che viene pubblicizzato. Delusi dal fatto che nessun giorno hanno rassettato la camera nonostante fosse un servizio offerto e l’abbia anche segnalato… nemmeno cambiare gli asciugamani e rifornire il te…”

“For a 340nzd/night hotel, totally unacceptable. While the reception staff was friendly and helpful, the condition of the room preparation and facility was shockingly bad. * No Shampoo in the room * The casing of the air conditioner is open, exposing internal compartments and components. It appears someone might be fixing or cleaning it, but the job is unfinished and it was left open. * The room's air conditioner was incredibly loud and made a constant, rapid ticking noise while running. When I...

“Staff friendly enough however when we went to ask some more information questions the office was closed, even though their office hours indicated they would be open! Room comfortable, warm & quiet. Handy to walk anywhere in town. A nice stay”

“Perfect location, spacious clean rooms and good facilities. Friendly and helpful staff.”

“La collocazione, camere spaziose, la cucina comune”

“The rooms are tidy and comfortable. Although the walls are quite thin so if you're a light sleeper bring some earplugs. It's really central, easy access to everything. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Overall a great, affordable option in FJ.”
